RECENT PROJECT: SW RANCH REMODEL

The photos in this issue of the Red Rooster Newsletter are from a project we finished last summer in the West Slope neighbor hood of Portland. We remodeled 3 existing bathrooms, the kitchen, entry way and updated miscellaneous areas of the home. This was a very cool project. The homeowners worked closely with Chris Davis, the architect/designer for the project, to bring the home back to its Mid Century roots while adding an Asian flare. This project, Red Rooster Remodeling and Chris Davis Design were featured in an article in the Home and Garden section of the Oregonian at the beginning of summer. Check it out!

DESIGN IDEAS

We all get our inspiration for design from various places. Design ideas for our homes can be dictated by the way we use our space, the number of animals or kids we have, or by the way we feel when we walk into a room.

If you are someone that needs a little help with inspiration there are a number of places to browse ideas. Looking through home and garden magazines or browsing design sites on line are great ways to get ideas.

But, if you need to see some live examples of materials and products you are considering, there are an overwhelming number of really great suppliers in Portland. Here are a few that I frequent and feel are helpful in the beginning design stages of a new project. There are always new and exciting products out there and these are a few places make them easy to find.

Feel free to contact Red Rooster Remodeling to help you decipher any of this information!
